Safety is paramount at our studio. In addition to providing our clients with quality custom artwork and professional body piercings, our goal is to educate our clients and to promote body art health and safety information to the community at large. Nighthawk Tattoo is one of the few Tattoo Studios in Ontario to have a close working relationship with members of the Wellington-Dufferin Guelph Health Unit, as well as other health provider organizations in Guelph and surrounding area. Professional Piercer and educator, Mark McAlpine works directly with the Health Unit on Body Art health and safety presentations to area schools, as well as independent presentations at the University of Guelph, The Hillside Festival, The John Howard Society and more. Mark has also acted as an expert consultant on several tattoo and piercing safety projects.
