How do I book a tattoo appointment?

Tattoo appointments can be booked over the phone or in person at the studio. Online bookings are for piercings only.
Because the size and detail each tattoo design can vary widely, we need to chat with clients before booking the appropriate amount of time for each appointment.

How do I book a piercing appointment?

Body Piercings appointments are booked ONLINE. Booking is quick and easy, just click HERE to visit our piercing site.

How do I do a tattoo consult?

Tattoo consults can easily be done via email: tattoos@nighthawktattoo.com

Please send in any reference/inspirational pictures with a brief description of your tattoo details.

Please include:
-Date and time of appointment (if already booked) and which artist you are with.
-Size estimate (in inches or cm, or relative to something like a business card, palm of hand size etc).
-Location on the body.
-Will your tattoo be colour, solid black or black and grey?
-Will your tattoo be covering up or modifying an old piece? If so please include a picture of original tattoo/area
-Any other info you feel is important (specific details about design, changes or other ideas)

Can I see my artwork ahead of time?

With tattoo bookings being 2-3 months in advance Laurie and Mac both have a steady drawing workload for up coming appointments and generally do not work on artwork until a few days before the tattoo appointment.

But I’m the type of person who needs to see my tattoo artwork well in advance...
Please feel free to contact the shop to see if your artist can get you a peek at your artwork ahead of time.

What kind of payment do you accept?

Tattoos payments are Cash only. (There is an RBC in the next plaza which accepts most types of bank cards). We can provide an estimate of the cost of your tattoo ahead of your appointment.

Piercings payments available are Cash, Debt/Credit or E-Transfer

How do I purchase a gift certificate?

Tattoo Gift Certificates can be purchased directly at the shop and are Cash only.

Piercing Gift Certificates can be purchased in person at the shop or done online. Click here to buy a piercing e-giftcertificate in any amount.

Do you pierce Children’s ear lobes?

Yes! Mark has a fantastic reputation in the community as the go-to-it piercer for parents with younger children wanting their ears pierced. We do NOT pierce babies or toddlers, but if you and your child have decided together that getting an ear piercing is a good idea, Mark is the person to come to.  Click HERE to book an appointment for your child.

How old to do I need to be to be pierced or tattooed?

Piercing– You must be 16 years old or older, with valid ID, to get a piercing. If you are under 16, you will need to have a parent or legal Guardian sign your consent form in person and be present for your appointment.

Tattoo – You must be 18 years old or older, with valid ID to get a tattoo. If you are under 18, you will need a parent or legal Guardian to sign your consent form in person and be present for your appointment.

What are your rates for tattoos?

-Our Min Rate is $130.00 (tax included) which covers most simple designs up to about 45mins worth of work.
-Our Hourly Rate is $175.00 (tax included)

Do I need to put down a deposit for my tattoo appointment?

-We presently do not require deposits for single appointments
-We do require a $400 non refundable deposit if you are booking a group of 4 or more for an entire day

I need to cancel my tattoo or piercing appointment. What do I do?

If you need to cancel your TATTOO APPOINTMENT, please call and leave a message or EMAIL the shop as soon as you ca. We understand life changes on a dime, so let us know if you can’t make it. If you miss your appointment without notice, it may affect your ability to book future appointments with our studio.

If you need to cancel your PIERCING APPOINTMENT for any reason please head to our online booking spot and cancel your appointment. If you are late for your appointment, we will NOT be able to do your procedure, and your appointment will be cancelled.

Other clients have piercing appointments booked immediately after yours, so please arrive for your scheduled time or re-book a new appointment.

The booking calendar will show you all AVAILABLE times/dates. If a date is not available to book, the calendar will not allow you to click it.
